Sarah serves Legacy's business and individual clients in matters such as complex LLC operating agreements, issues in real estate acquisition and sales, and litigation involving boundary conflicts to will contests. 

Prior to joining Legacy, Sarah managed the real estate department at CowanGates after serving as a Clerk for the Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Virginia. Between undergraduate and law school, Sarah worked as a corporate paralegal in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sarah Spiers received her Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary School of Law. While in law school, Sarah earned Honors for excellence in research, writing and analysis. Sarah was admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2006.

Sarah is a 1997 graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she earned a B.A. in History, magna cum laude with final honors, and received the Almont Lindsay Award for Excellence in History.

In addition to her law practice, Sarah continues to serve as Executive Director of a non-profit association, Attorneys for Family-Held Enterprises, a post she has held since 2000.

Sarah is a native of Staunton, Virginia.
